Eleven years spent reading literature reviews that describe a field instead of arguing about it. Dr. Nurul Ain rebuilds Chapter 2 around a gap the student can actually defend, and edits the chapters around it so the whole thesis reads as one argument.
No marketing biography. Here is the qualification, the experience and the working method โ so you can judge whether they are right for your thesis.
Dr. Nurul Ain holds a PhD in Education from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, where her own thesis involved synthesising a literature base spread across three disciplines. That experience is why she teaches critical synthesis rather than description โ most students already know how to summarise a study, not how to argue with it.
She has worked with candidates across education, social work and communication programmes at UKM, UiTM and UPSI, including several BM-medium submissions. Her editing work extends beyond Chapter 2: once the gap is defended, she checks that the discussion chapter actually answers it, since a mismatch there is one of the most common reasons a panel sends work back.
She reads the supervisor's comments before she reads the chapter. Vague feedback like 'needs more critical analysis' gets translated into a specific instruction โ which sources to compare, on what basis โ before any rewriting starts.
The first step is always the same: what does your research gap actually say, in one sentence? If that sentence cannot be written yet, restructuring the literature review comes first โ no chapter gets rewritten around a gap that has not been settled.
From there she works chapter by chapter, keeping a running note of terminology and argument so Chapter 2's framing carries through to the discussion. Every draft comes back with a short note explaining what changed and why, so you can defend it in your own words at a viva.
Include your supervisor's comments and your faculty guideline document. You'll get a scope and a price back, not a sales call.

Critical synthesis rather than description โ sources compared against each other, not just listed, with a gap statement that survives a panel's first question.
Chapter-by-chapter support for education faculties, including school-based studies with their own ethics and access requirements.
Terminology and argument checked for consistency from your literature review through to your discussion, not just grammar.
Vague feedback like 'needs more critical analysis' turned into a specific, actionable revision plan.

Ask Nurul โ"My supervisor kept writing 'descriptive, not critical' on every draft and I genuinely did not know what she meant. Dr. Nurul Ain showed me the difference on my own sources. It clicked immediately."
"Saya hantar Bab 2 dalam Bahasa Malaysia dan beliau faham struktur kajian saya dengan cepat. Susunan rujukan dan hujah menjadi lebih jelas."
"Good work overall โ my gap statement is much sharper now. Took a bit longer than the estimate because my sources were scattered across three fields, but the result justified the wait."
