Terms & Conditions โ€” Written to Be Read, Not Skipped

The agreement between you and us: what we deliver, what you are responsible for, how money and cancellation work, and the limits on both sides. Short clauses, no defined-terms appendix, nothing that needs a lawyer to decode.

What You Are Agreeing To

The clauses below are the agreement. This is what they add up to.

SIX THINGS THAT MATTER

  • โœ“You get a written scope and a fixed price before you pay anything.
  • โœ“50% starts the work, 50% on delivery. One revision round after supervisor feedback is included.
  • โœ“Copyright in the delivered work passes to you in full on final payment.
  • โœ“Cancel before work starts and the deposit is refunded; cancel later and it is refunded pro rata.
  • โœ“We provide academic support. You remain the author and are responsible for how you use it.
  • โœ“We will not fabricate data, sit an assessment for you, or guarantee a grade.
The Agreement

Terms and Conditions in Full

Twelve clauses. If any of them is unclear, ask before you order rather than after.

1What these terms cover

These terms apply to every quote, order and piece of work between you and ThesisHelper Malaysia. By accepting a quote you accept them.

Nothing on this website is an offer in itself. A contract exists only once you have accepted a written scope and price from us.

2What we provide

Academic support services: writing, structuring, editing, statistical analysis, formatting and consultation on research you are conducting.

The scope of any order is whatever your accepted quote says it is. Work outside that scope is a new order with its own price, and we will tell you rather than doing it and invoicing afterwards.

3What we do not provide

We will not fabricate data, results or transcripts; sit an examination, viva or assessment in your place; access your university systems; correspond with your institution while representing you; or guarantee a grade, award or publication outcome.

We decline orders we judge to be undeliverable within the timeline offered, and orders that would misrepresent your research. We will say which of the two applies rather than declining without explanation.

4Your responsibilities

You are responsible for giving us accurate information: your real deadline, your faculty guideline, your word count and your level. A quote built on inaccurate information may need revising.

You are responsible for checking your own institution's academic integrity policy and deciding what assistance is permitted on your programme. We cannot make that assessment for you and will not tell you your rules do not apply.

5Prices and payment

Prices are as quoted to you in writing. Published starting rates on our pricing page are a floor, and your quote itemises anything above it.

Payment is 50% on acceptance and 50% before final delivery, unless an instalment plan was agreed in writing. All amounts are in Malaysian Ringgit.

The quoted price does not change after acceptance unless you change the scope. If you do, you are told the new figure before any additional work begins.

6Delivery

We deliver by the date stated in your accepted quote. Where a delay is our fault, any rush handling required to recover is unpaid and we may discount the order.

Where a delay is caused by information we asked for and did not receive, the delivery date moves by the corresponding period. We will tell you at the time rather than raising it afterwards.

7Revisions

One revision round after supervisor feedback is included with every order, at no cost, provided the brief has not changed.

Further revisions are charged only where the brief itself changed. If we simply did not meet the original brief, correcting that is our cost regardless of how many attempts it takes.

8Cancellation and refunds

Cancel before your specialist begins and the deposit is refunded in full.

Cancel after work has begun and the deposit is refunded in proportion to what has not been written. You are told the split before you decide.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method within fourteen working days.

9Ownership of the work

Copyright in the delivered work passes to you in full once final payment is received. We retain no rights over it and no licence to reuse it.

We do not resell, republish, adapt or use your work as a sample. This is not a preference โ€” it is set out in our confidentiality policy and applies permanently.

10Confidentiality and data

Your research is handled under our confidentiality policy and your personal data under our privacy policy. Both form part of this agreement.

We will not confirm to any third party that you are or have been a client.

11Limits of liability

Our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for academic outcomes, institutional decisions or consequential losses, because those depend on factors outside our control โ€” your data, your defence and your examiner.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited under Malaysian law.

12Complaints and governing law

Raise a complaint by email to info@thesishelper.my. We respond within two working days and aim to resolve it directly, which is how almost every dispute we have had was settled.

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia and subject to the jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts. They were last updated on 2026-09-05.

Terms FAQ

Questions About the Agreement

No. Accepting your written quote is acceptance of these terms, and the quote itself records the scope, price and deadline. If you want a signed document for an employer who is funding your studies, ask and we will issue one.

You do, completely. Copyright transfers on final payment and we retain no rights, no licence and no copy for reuse. That is why we cannot show anyone else's work as a sample either.

Anything that changes what was quoted: adding a chapter, raising the word count, changing the research design after writing has begun, or switching referencing style mid-order. Fixing something we got wrong is never a scope change.

Yes. Many of our clients are lecturers, nurses and engineers whose employer part-funds their studies. Tell us the billing details and an invoice is issued in the sponsor's name.

Tell us within the revision window and describe specifically what missed the brief. Where you are right, it is corrected at our cost. Where the brief itself was ambiguous, we will say so and usually still fix it โ€” arguing over a few hundred Ringgit is not worth either of our time.

No. Same terms, same rates, same currency and the same governing law. Your programme and faculty determine the work, not your nationality.
